Problem
Poor air quality and high pollen levels can make road journeys uncomfortable, yet drivers have limited visibility into environmental conditions along their route or what may be triggering their symptoms.
Solution
A context-aware in-vehicle experience that recommends cleaner routes based on environmental conditions, offers route customizations, and provides EV-specific vehicle insights—all integrated into the car’s infotainment system.
Role
As Product Designer, I designed the experience from the ground up, exploring personalized journeys, contextual recommendations, and tailored in-car interactions to create a more intuitive driving experience.
Outcome
Designed a high-fidelity product concept and mockup for a prospective client pitch, demonstrating the potential of personalized environmental intelligence within an in-vehicle experience.
Project overview
This case study focusses on designing an interface for a vehicle dashboard for users to navigate on the cleanest route while driving. Focussing on the health of our users, we designed the screens specifically for helping users identify the climate problem on their route and make changes to reach their destination safely keeping health in mind. We also had an additional task to create a dashboard for the automotive industry to track their manufactured and sold goods.
